Red Shore at The Edge of Night
In this place
it is hard to see
where the ocean ends
and heaven begins,
or where the land stops
and sea begins.
It is hard to tell whether
this is the beauty of dawn
or of dusk ... a beginning
or an ending
or both.
The grasses and weeds,
just touched with pure gold light,
gaze at the seascape,
embrace each other,
and wave happily
goodbye or hello.
Love and light and color
permeate everything.
God is here.
